Sundays at 4:30pm at 525 Idylwood Drive South in Salem
Experience community, simply.
We gather as a community on Sundays at 4:30pm. We meet at Gateway Foursquare. Follow signs and meet friendly greeters as you head into the main room where we gather.
Our services are about an hour long, and include music, a message and communion. People dress comfortably. There are Kids’ environments available nursery through Grade 5, but they are also welcome to stay with you. Find out more below.
Maybe this will be helpful…
What can we expect?
– A few simple songs (usually a guitar and maybe a violin) to sing along to or just listen.
– A short message. It will be similar to the YouTube/podcast episode for the same weekend.
– Communion together (all are welcome at the table, but you can also skip this).
– Another song and a simple prayer.
– Afterwards, feel free to hang out and enjoy a snack while you meet some folks.
The whole thing should last an hour.
How many are at your gatherings?
Between 20 and 40 people gather in the main room. It just depends!
What about my kid(s)?
We have kids’ classrooms for nursery/pre-k and for elementary kids through grade 5. Our volunteers are background checked and there are always open doors and multiple volunteers. We have a check-in / check-out system. You can also keep your kids in the service with you. It’ll be an hour long.
We take our kids seriously. Email us with your specific kid-related questions! firstname.lastname@example.org
Do I need to believe in Jesus to attend?
No. We created this church in 2017 to be a place where faith in Jesus can be explored and isn’t assumed or expected.
We welcome your questions, your doubts, and the process of faith. You don’t have to believe to belong.
And we won’t make any assumptions: we promise to explain briefly what’s happening and invite you to join in. You can also sit back and just check things out.
You’re safe here.
The “I don’t like to read” version here.
Why didn't you include my question?!
Well darnit. Let us know what you want to know!
What others are saying…
I’ve been to so many churches in my life. I’ve never felt so completely comfortable as I do with Crosscreek people! Whether in person or virtually, these amazing Jesus-followers show everyone that loving Christ and others is our #1 job, that we may not get it right all the time, but we still get to try again. You won’t get the feeling of being judged for how you live your life! They will show you how you may WANT to live your life closer to Jesus.
I love this church. The people here are so welcoming. I don’t think I have ever found a more caring and non-judgmental church than Crosscreek.
Connect, enjoy, share.
Staying connected is important. We have weekly gatherings on Sundays, and Connect Groups that meet mid-week in homes. Consider making the online content a part of our your routine and receive encouragement & hope if you can't come to our in-person service. Take your faith further by forming an alliance.
