What if prayer isn’t a religious duty to get God’s attention…but an invitation that proves we already have it?
Prayer is not a public show.
We pray b/c we hope someone is listening.
The point of prayer isn’t to get God’s attention. It’s to enjoy the fact that we already have it.
Prayer is an opportunity to practice enjoying and trusting God.
The reward of prayer isn’t stuff—it’s God.
Prayer isn’t informing God. It’s trusting him.
God wants our heart, not our performance.
Prayer is powerful… because the point is God himself.
Invitation:
Practice Planned Prayer
– PLAN a moment.
– PAUSE in your day and talk to God.
– PROCESS what you’re feeling.
– PRAISE or thank him simply.
Practice Spontaneous Prayer
